The story of Ende Gelände

Ende Gelände is a German activist movement known for its mass actions of civil disobedience against brown coal mining. The name translates to "Here and No Further" in English. For several years in a row, Ende Gelände organized openly announced mass actions where activists were trained and encouraged to walk in groups into the massive open pit coal mines with the goal of stopping the machines and stopping this destructive fossil fuel extraction.
